EVC 2027 and Clare FM making waves

Clare FM has joined forces with County Clare European Volunteering Capital 2027 to celebrate the people who give their time and energy to make communities across Clare stronger.

As part of the partnership, Clare FM’s flagship current affairs programme Morning Focus, presented by Alan Morrissey, will feature a different volunteering story from a Clare community every week during August, September and October.

Broadcasting from 9am to midday, Monday to Friday, the programme will highlight the people behind the clubs, groups and community projects that make a real difference across the county.

Clare was awarded the European Volunteering Capital title by the Centre for European Volunteering in recognition of its strong volunteering tradition and the contribution of thousands of volunteers across the county.

The campaign aims to celebrate volunteers, showcase their work and encourage more people to get involved in their communities.

Through this Clare FM partnership, the stories of Clare’s volunteers will be brought to listeners across the county, recognising the people who help make Clare a better place for everyone.
